3redha is a free noticeboard for property, vehicles and everything else, run by one person for people in Lebanon. These terms explain what it does, what it asks of you, and what it does not promise. Please read them before creating an account or posting.
1.Who runs 3redha
3redha is a personal project, not a company. It is built and paid for by one independent developer in Lebanon, working on it in their own time, so that people here have a free place to advertise what they are selling or renting. There is no company behind it, no staff, no investors and nobody earning anything from it. Throughout these terms, “we” means that one person.
2.It is free, and there is nothing to pay
Posting on 3redha costs nothing, and it is meant to stay that way. There are no listing fees, no commission on a sale, no paid promotion or featured slots, no subscription and no advertising. The site has no way of taking a payment from you — no card form, no payment provider, nothing. So if anyone ever asks you to pay 3redha to post, to be verified, or to have your post ranked higher, it is not us, and it is a fraud.
3.What 3redha does — and what it does not do
3redha is a noticeboard. It hosts advertisements for property, vehicles and other items, placed by the people who own them or by someone the owner has mandated to act for them. Everything after that happens directly between you and the other person, away from the site. We are not a party to any sale or rental, we do not inspect what is advertised, we do not check ownership or registration papers, we do not arrange viewings or deliveries, and we never handle or hold anyone's money.
4.Your account
You can browse without an account; you need one to post or to save something. You must be at least 18. Give real details — an email address that works, a name people can address you by, and a phone number that reaches you, because your number is shown on your posts and it is how buyers contact you. One account per person. Keep your password to yourself: anything done from your account is treated as done by you, so tell us at once if you think someone else has got in. Changing your password signs the account out of every other device.
5.Verifying who you are
Before you can publish anything you have to confirm your email address and pass identity verification: you upload the front and back of an identity document and a short selfie video, and a person reviews them by hand. Approval is not automatic — a request can be refused, and you can submit up to five a day. Your documents are stored privately, are never shown publicly, and are handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Being verified means somebody checked a document once. It is not a recommendation, not a promise that the person is honest or solvent, and not a reason to skip your own checks.
6.Posting something
Post only what you actually have the right to advertise: something you own, or something whose owner has mandated you to advertise it. The form asks which of the two you are, and answering it untruthfully is grounds for removal. Describe the thing honestly — a real asking price in US dollars, photographs of the actual item taken recently by you, the correct town, and a condition and history you would be content to have inspected. One post per thing: do not publish the same property several times, and do not repost it to climb back to the top. New posts are limited to ten per hour per account.
7.Every post is read before it appears
Your post does not go live the moment you publish it. It joins a queue and appears on the site only once an administrator has approved it, which can take a while because one person does the reviewing. A post can be refused, and a post already live can be taken down later if a problem comes to light. Refusal is usually about the post rather than about you: a missing detail, a photo nothing can be seen in, or a price that looks like a placeholder.
8.What must not be posted
Do not advertise anything you may not lawfully sell or rent in Lebanon, or anything for which the law requires a licence you do not hold — in particular weapons and ammunition, drugs and prescription medicines, counterfeit goods, stolen property, identity or official documents, protected wildlife, and sexual services or content. Do not use somebody else's photographs, whether from another advert or from anywhere on the internet, and do not publish another person's phone number, address or documents. Do not refuse a tenant or a buyer on grounds of religion, sect, nationality, race, gender, disability or family situation, and do not write a post saying that you will. Do not use a post to advertise something other than what it claims to be, to collect contact details, or to ask for money before anyone has seen anything.
9.Your photos and your words stay yours
You keep ownership of every photograph, video and word you upload. By posting, you give permission — free of charge, non-exclusive, and for as long as the post is up — to store your files, resize and re-encode them so they load on a phone, and display them on 3redha, in its search results, and in the preview card that appears when someone shares your post. That permission exists for one purpose: showing your advert. Take the post down or delete your account and the files stop being served and are queued for deletion; they sit for about a day before being erased, so a mistake can still be put right if you get in touch quickly. You confirm that what you upload is yours to publish and infringes nobody's rights. If something here uses your work without permission, report the post or write to [email protected] and it will be looked at.
10.Using the site fairly
Do not scrape the site or copy its contents in bulk, by hand or with a tool, and do not work around the rate limits that keep it standing. Do not create accounts in bulk, use somebody else's account, or try to get past the review or the verification step. Do not impersonate another person or a business. Do not collect phone numbers or email addresses from posts in order to market to people. Do not harass, threaten or abuse anyone through the site, and do not probe, overload or attempt to break it.
11.Reports and moderation
Every post carries a report button. Reports go straight to the administrator and can be made for spam, a scam, something already sold or a seller who cannot be reached, misleading photos, prices or locations, offensive content, or a duplicate. Acting on a report can mean taking the post down, refusing later posts, or suspending the account — a suspended account is signed out everywhere immediately and cannot sign back in. There is no formal appeal process, but if you think a decision is wrong, write and say so. Serious matters — a scam, a stolen vehicle, a threat — belong with the police as well; this is a noticeboard, not an authority.
12.Dealing safely with strangers
Because nobody here checks anything on your behalf, the checking is yours to do. See the property or the vehicle in person, read the title, registration and identity papers yourself, and meet somewhere public and busy in daylight. Do not pay a deposit for a place you have not visited or a vehicle you have not inspected, do not transfer money to someone you have not met, and treat a price far below everything comparable as a warning rather than a bargain. If anything about a post or a person seems wrong, report it before you part with any money.
13.No warranty, and the limits of responsibility
3redha is given to you as it is and as it happens to be available, with no warranty of any kind. It runs in one person's spare time on modest hosting, so it may be slow, it may be offline, reviews may be delayed, and features may change or disappear — keep your own copies of your photos and videos. Nothing here promises that a post is genuine, a price fair, a seller honest, a property habitable or a vehicle roadworthy. To the fullest extent Lebanese law permits, the person running 3redha is not liable for what you lose through a deal arranged here, for what another user does or writes, or for the site being unavailable, slow, or losing data; and since the service is provided free of charge, any liability that cannot be excluded is limited to the amount you have paid to use it, which is nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for anything the law does not allow to be limited.
14.Closing your account — and closing the service
You can delete your account yourself at any time in Settings. Doing so takes your posts off the site, deletes your identity-verification documents outright, removes your posts from other people's saved lists, and queues your files for deletion. It cannot be undone. If you only want to stop showing one thing, you do not need to go that far — mark it sold or rented, or hide it, and leave your account alone. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; and because this is one person's project rather than a business obliged to keep it running, the whole service may one day close. If that happens we will say so on the site in advance, as far as we reasonably can.
15.Which law applies
Lebanese law governs these terms and your use of 3redha, and the courts of Beirut have jurisdiction over any dispute — without prejudice to any right you have as a consumer to bring a claim where you live. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
16.Changes to these terms
These terms will change as the site does. Changes are published on this page and the date at the top changes with them, and anything significant will be announced on the site. Continuing to use 3redha after a change means accepting the version published then, which is the one that applies.
